Pastor Richard was ordained at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, in Mequon Wisconsin, and began his ministry as Associate Pastor at Emmanuel Lutheran, Kettering, OH on June 29th, 2008.

On August 30, 2015 Pastor Richard was installed as Atonement’s Pastor where he leads with love, joy, and a passion to keep Atonement faithfully serving God by serving in the community.

George and Laura Brown-Youth Directors

George grew up in the Cincinnati area and Laura grew up in southeastern Kentucky.  After college (Miami University for George and Samford University for Laura), they both attended graduate school in the Columbus area and have been here ever since.  Both George and Laura are middle school teachers and former coaches.  George loves track and cross country while Laura can rarely say no to a game of volleyball.  Their passion for mentoring youth prompted them to expand their ministries to the church setting.  In their free time, they enjoy going on nature walks, playing board games, and visiting friends and family.  They are also excited that their family is growing and they will be welcoming a baby boy soon!
